*DISCLAIMER* This is NOT a PETITION so its ok to look devs.

and boy that looks good. I'm wondering if you guys/gals think its a good idea to have this in deep space.

I think it might be cool sense the rebs have nothing to defend but only to attack.

If not this what are your ideas to put in a reb cruiser?

Having something for imps to blow up would seem fun wouldn't it?

This might bring more ppl into deep space and it will be like should we attack or defend and there should be a reward if you were there for at

least 30min and your side's Capital ship remainds there for say 12hrs or a day. Maybe give you a bunch of ground faction or a nice loot

reward.

*Fine Print*

If dev looks that dev must sign in or at least consider signing in and paying attention!!!

While id love to see it, Im not sure "space"in this game actually has enough free space. Maybe if the Star Destroyer and the Mon Cal Cruiser were close enough, they could be firing on each other, only for show, with no damage. Take out the corvettes and keep the NPC fighters swarming their respective mothership. Until one is destroyed.

I love XWA.

Maybe add more space to deep space with enough room for the ships to manuver around and make patrols.

Id love more space to space in all sectors. I stated this in the beta. Space is too small, im constantly running into the edges while fighting, especially with jump points and stations so close to the edges.

Needs to be a large empty space buffer zone around the populated areas.

Id say the maps are the same size as the ground, though i havent checked to see. I think they need to be twice that. If only due to the fact we can cover distance much quicker.

There must be some technical reasons why they cant increase it. Though i never saw a dev answer the many threads about it in the beta.

Ummmmm. Can't they just increase the servers to give more space to space?

Or have 2 servers closely tied to where one server holds half the sector and the other the other half?

Ok that was off topic but back to what the thread is for is:

Do you think that is a good idea to have a rebel cruiser in deep space?

Could we get content off of it being in there? What are your ideas for content for something like that?

If not the Mon cal what kind of cruiser should there be?

Looking for ideas and then after alot of ideas are posted LOOKING FOR DEV's attention

They do have something to defend in Deep Space. The Rebel base is the rebel's versin of the ISD. If anything, the rebels have a huge numbers advantage in Deep Space already. They both havea command ship, rebels have a bunch of vettes, more gunships, and far more fighters. Now you want to throw in Mon Cal? The ISD doesn't even have fighter cover! In a sector that is already heavily rebel, adding a big cap ship to further tip the balalnce isnt needed.

No that may be but with a mon cal cruiser in there that may attract more imps seeing it is so empty a reb can go in and solo the ISD.

A reason the mon cruiser might come into play would be a role playing type part where the imps could set up around the ISD and the rebs

around the cruiser and have a match of which goes down first. Like 2 battle ships taking it out. more ships may it be but how much dmg can

imps Bstrike3 do? Ya alot.

It'd make more sense than a space station floating in deep space.

Space stations are meant to be anchored by orbiting a celestial object - not hovering serenely in the middle of nowhere in a galactic void.

I don't know if it is just my imagination but I swear I remember seeing a screenshot of one before JTL Beta started. Anyone else remember?

I think the Mon Calamari joined the rebellion at a point past our current SWG timeframe. Any Mon Cal cruisers you see would be passenger vessels (the were eventually converted to military duty). I think that a change IS in order though. I mean look... you can fly underneath the Impstar and not get shot.. its too big with too few guns to cover itself. The rebel station is encrusted with almost as many guns and is MUCH smaller, making it hard to even approach. (I know because I tried shooting it once... thats a BIG no no...)

Ideas for a rebel cruiser... uh... Nebulon-B Frigate? They had some of those about this time I would think. Not nearly as tough as the Impstar but better than that station. The rebels just didnt have large ships at this time so I am not sure how they could have something similar to the Impstar other than a different and MUCH LARGER station. How about the 3 sided stations used in the X-wing series?
