Thread: PVP Missions- Any chance?

Just wondering if anyone thinks that a version of the old Xwing vs Tie Fighter style mission might work for JTL. In that game equal numbers of players could join different sides and fight in a mission format with opposite goals. One side attacking, one side defending, etc..


Maybe a PVP station could be established where players can sign on to these missions, and have a common place to find other PvPers. Personally I think 5-10 people on each side, duking it out would be fun, especially with an interesting mission running in the background.


Maybe PVP missions could give out some good loot to promote PVP.

Give it up for once Slarus.. do PvP players complain that 99.9% of the damn content in this game is PvE that's so damn weak and inane that you can practically solo anything in this game? Jeeez..

As far as splitting it into two different types of missions, I dont think that will happen, but we are considering an alternate advancement for the PvP missions. Nothing in stone yet. We are just working on accomodating players who are just trying to get their master box.

Youknow what? We need arena like zones just for PvP(no PvE stuff in there), and each zonehosts a different type of game/mission/objective, deathmatch, team deathmatch, free for all, base assult, attack/defend capital ships/space outposts, whatever, and most importantly, no chassis/component decay if you get killed in one of those zones (you must fully repair your ship before entering however).

Just for once - do everyone (including yourself) a favour and shut your flapping lips for once (and not those lips). For one day - stop posting trollery that is nutsackery of the highest order. You aren't forced to go to Deep Space and there's an ISD there. Makes for good PvE you know... I mean - that thing is loaded with weapons and whiners like you don't go solo'ing it because they might get shot at. I love Deep Space for this reason alone. Give me more. Content that only people who're not coward whiners will chase after. I'll take my million prestige thank you very much and know that you'll have to grind it out. Loser.

"If you leave deep space or die, all damage is repaired for free with no decay. There are NO pvp Damage penalties for deep space now."

Can't figure out why your arguing and insulting me when I agreed you PvPers need some missions based on PvP, oh yeah you dont really care about getting content so much as getting special rewards. You guys would get farther if you dropped the idea of special favor and just ask for content.

Everything that drops in Deep space also is possible loot in other locations. I get tired of you thinking I am a coward because I dont PvP, I could give a damn about the risk I just dont like shooting at fellow players, I know compassion for my fellow player is alien toPvPers like you but there are some people who dont care to do it.

Oh my goodness, no penalty what so ever for dieing in pvp, that's just not fair, I shouldn't get any penalty for dieing in pve.
