Thread: New space junk loot info?

I've seen absolutely no evidence of new loot either in space or on the ground. Maybe that's what they mean by "Loot Craziness?" It's crazy because it didn't do anything! So much for "phat lewt!" LOL erm...homey!!

It hasn't even been in place for 36 hours yet, and you're placing judgement on it?! Wow. Is this what some of you people expect, really??

I looted a datapad from the old trade federation route POI in naboo system. It talks about the RSF's new assassin droid and how it is malfunctioning (or something like that, I destroyed it).
I would try POIs. That would be a logical place to find loot like that.

Gonna be a mighty long drop from that pedestal you've stuck yourself on. Check the 3 page thread in the "Feedback" section concerning loot drops and you'll find most of us "people" are confirming that the loot system isn't working as it should.
But yeah, it's only been live for 36 or so hours and how dare we "people" expect something that has apparently been tested on TC for several days to work...the nerve of us...tsk!

Haven't seen a thread with any details about some of the new junk loot and where to take them. I was out in dantooine last night blowing things up looking for kessel space entrance till someone told me it was in dath, when I looted a holocron/hologram/holograph (can't remember which) image. It has a read option and talks about a great spawn of copper there in space and those who are going to mine it.
Any clue what needs to be done with this? Any other new lot infos?

All the junk loot we've always gotten, the broken datapads, etc. All ground loot.
The new space loot includes the Black Sun Helmet, better components, etc.
No mining asteroids yet.

I looted two new objects as well, one was an analysis, which looked like a report from a planet survey droid. It had a couple of asteroid designations and the mineral contents of each of them. The other object was an "alliance agreement", basically a datapad that stated there was a merchant/trade alliance in place between the Black Suns and some unnamed faction. It also gace the rules which would break the alliance, ie firing/destroying an alliance member ship.
I remember reading from the patch/loot notes that the devs would throw in items with mini stories on them, to add to the immersion. My guess is that these are what this objects are.

Yeah, I got those before the patch. Got a letter, an ordinance, and a diary as well.
All those are confirmed "flavor" adders, nothing more.

What about the blurb in the launcher window that talks about a shipment of art being lost and being transported by black sun and some other pirate groups? I assumed that was new space loot; is it not really in?

It is, but as far as I know, it's ground loot. At least it all has been looted on the ground so far, anyway.
