I mean the ones that randomly end up in your inventory while mining.......
Besides making a huge displaywith them, are they also used in crafting anything?
Thought I read someplace that they are an ingredient for some schematic but
don't know what profession uses them, I may be wrong, do you know?

All asteroid chunk are used to craft special textures kits for ships, ask a shipwright for more details

remember, misshapens are common from the asteroids in kessel. i loot 1 everytime i mine there.
