If I buy Jump to lightspeed will I need to buy it for my alt too so they can have it too or will they have it as soon as I install it

Just like how you bought another copy of the game to make your alt/grinder/mule, you will have to buy another copy of JTL to have your alt/grinder/mule be able to fly.

I can't find it but a dev said.
Once copy of JTLS will cover all ALTs.
Not shure how they are going to do this but they posted it and it was said at Fan Fest

Actually I believe you're wrong.. what the Devs said you had to buy JTL for each account. so if you have 2 accounts you need 2 copies, because there is going to be an access code you need to enter. This was stated way back in May. Now if you have different avatars on different servers I think 1 game coovers all. but if you have 2 accounts, Deltapete, and the other Petedelta then you need two games so each can fly

For each copy of SWG you will need to buy a copy of JTL, this has already been stated by the Dev's.

why is that? i can play my account on my computer, my wife's computer and my friend's computer no problem. Each computer has its own install from seperate CDs. I assume anyone will be able to play JTL with any account, as long as JTL is installed.
but i could be wrong.

You can play withyour own station account on any computer or installation, but you need a different copy of JTL for each station account you have to be able to play JTL on them.
When you play on someone elses computer, you probably log in with your station name, your cd key that came with SWG is tied to that, not the actual game install.

Of course, if one copy of JTL could be used on multiple accounts, then one person could buy it and share it with any number of other players.

No idea if this has been asked before or if for some it obvious but i wanted to know:
I'm getting jedi with my char on ahazi within the next 1-2 months, nowi already have 3 accounts with 3 chars on bria and 2 chars on ahazi which i use often. Now my question is if my char on ahazi goes jedi i do not need the jedi alt on that server, i already got space for another and find that idon't have that much time for a lot of combat characters. So i think to myself why not put it on Bria with my other chars where although it isn't essential to have another is it possible to put my alt on bria?? This will allow me to get all the crafting proffessions almost and would be of use instead of just sitting round doing nothing on ahazi. So does anyone know if this will work??

When you unlock your alt is on the same server from what i have read.. the only way you culd bring your alt to the other server is to pay i think its 30bucks for a transfer
