Thread: Need help: Privateer Tier 3 Mission Stuck

I start by picking up the mission in Lok Cantina, fly to Dath, and launch for the mission.
Phase 1 - is disabling a civilian freighter and steal the cargo.
Phase 2 - 6 waves of Black Sun pirates close in
Phase 3 - dock with Lancer to transfer cargo
Phase 4 - Fly decoy for Lancer
In Phase 4, I have encountered 26 waves of pirates... Tried hyperspacing in system to shake them, and they follow with countless more waves. I cant get a mission complete sign, and have earned enough xp for 3 more skill boxes. I have to finish the mission to train. Can anyone tell me why I am facing so many waves, and not getting mission complete? The quest log only asks for me to fly to a WP and be a decoy. No perameters listed there. I can't figure it out. I have had up ro 3 master pilots with me and we still cant finish off all the waves. Please help.

I take it by you saying the mission starts in Lok that you are CorSec.
I recently mastered CorSec and never had an issue. If it's the mission I am remembering, you must destroy the waves of fighters that are attacking. You are the decoy and they will keep attacking you for a set amount of time, though I can't remember how long it was exactly.
If the waves are coming one at a time, there should be plenty of time between them to get them destroyed, especially with 3 masters helping out.

Unless those Masters are complete morons and don't know how to outfit thier ships properly.
If I can solo a Tier 5 Gunboat in 30 seconds at master some puny tier 4 fighters should be no problem for any master pilot.
Try only disabling them not destroying them, that helps when you are getting swarmed trust me.

yep you have to sit thier and kill them lol and i dont rember ever doign that quest o btw you dont get trained in any tier 3 boxed with xp thier all freebies but tier 4 is all duty missons to get as much xp as you cna as tier 4 takes up 4 mill in xp
