Original issue has been fixed (answering "they're weak" when Emya asks you about the mercs).

New loop is if you changed pilot squadrons; Station is reset, but Emya is not. He keeps telling you to go talk to the station, station tells you to talk to Emya.

So if you changed squadrons, you're probably still bugged

i changed squda with one char - bugged

but with the other one i gave herthe "weak" answer and the questis still bugged - so i make a ticked for that one - thanks

Does anyone know if this is getting looked at? It's not on the CSR's 'known issues' list that I can see

I did the quest as Rebel and got my X-Wing, but now I'm Imperial, and since Eyma hasn't been reset, I'm missing out on both the badge and a decent T4 ship. The JSF is nice, but for lvl 10 components, you simply need more mass. Presumably when I go Freelance, I won't be able to get the Vaksai and that badge either.

It's one of the more annoying bugs; I can live without the Y-8 ship, but these ones are far more useful. Just wondered if anyone's heard anything?

Dont hold your breath. Very few bugs have been fixed in JTL. Every patch seems to add a few more.

i got both my characters on the permanent loop...

so to fix it, i deleted my alt... and made a new character. and joined freelancer smugglers alliance. and grinded up to 2/2/2/2 and then realized that i cant continue any farther because im lvl 1, and my new trainer is in jabba's palace...

Is there a way I can get more than one of those ships and badges?

I've got the badge for the vaksai and the heavy x-wing, and both ships. Firstly, I did the quest for the heavy x-wing and finished it without any problems. Secondly, I dropped rebel for imperial to try and get the guard tie.... no success, the imperial station merely asks you about going overt. So finally I dropped imperial and regrinded neutral for the vaksai. That quest started without any problems and I was given the final vette mission straight away when talking to the station and following the "I'm looking for a challange" conversation line.

To get two of the three I think you have to do one of the factions and then go neutral. Talking to the stations seems to be bugged once one of the three quests have been completed... or maybe it's not intended for players to have more than one.
