Thread: Neutral Pilot Trainer at Jabba's Palace Getting Frustrated

I've been stuck at piloting 3-2-2-2 since December. I just recently came back from a break and decided to finish my piloting skills. So I went back to Jabba's Palace and took the mission to inspect the Witchblood ships. Everytime I inspect one of the ships, they either have no cargo or cargo that I'm not looking for. I used to could get at least to the second part of the mission, but now the first part won't even spawn with the correct cargo. This is preventing me from advancing. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've sat around killing spawn after spawn, hoping that one would have what I needed, but that didn't help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Getting very sick of this. Thanks.

Are you disabling them all first, then inspecting, and then docking with the right one?

This mission took me a couple of times, because I kept blowing one up... (usually the one carrying the thing I needed)

If you're using a ship with two weapons, try only shooting with one when diabling these small ships (press 1 or 2)

I had to wait through 3 spawns of these before I found one with the right cargo.

Okay, I've finally gotten the firstpart of the mission done after 2 spawns. The second part I sat there for an hour killing spawns and still nothing. Then the server went down for a reset. I've since sent in a ticket to make sure this isn't a bug, though I doubt they'll actually help me out in any way. I recently sent in a ticket because I didn't receive a reward from a quest on Kashyyyk and they said, "Please submit as a bug." Which I had already did twice, and they didn't even bother to tell me if they would do anything about my reward or at least resetting the quest for me so I could do it over. I refuse to pay millions for an item that I should have gotten anyways for completing the quest.

My guess is that they'll give me the same response to this issue.

My first reaction was the same... What am I doing wrong!

By the law of averages, if the spawn is a throw of the dice, so to speak, there will be periods where it just seems impossible to get the roll you want... (play craps sometime). Sometimes it happens right away. It sounds like you are going about it right. If I remember correctly you are looking for the gathering grounds location, or something like that then another piece of info, then it should become a destroy mission, to keep them occupied. Keep doing what you are doing... disable inspect destroy... and hang in there. However, if this goes on for hours upon hours, you will need to close your ticket and open another before you can expect to here from anyone.

Best of luck!

I finally decided to send a reportabout it. Got a response back and was told to email one of the CSR's out of the game. I sent him the e-mail, and the next day he found me in-game and said he was going to grant me the skill and that it should put me past that mission. He did say this was a common issue, but trying it 3 or 4 times should usually fix it. So, I got excited and immediately left the Village of Aurilia to go try and do the next piloting mission. Apparently Jabba's trainer still thought I was on that mission and wouldn't let me continue. So on on a whim I took the mission again and went up and passed the mission first try. Maybe there was a bug and my having the skill bypassed it? Who knows.
