Thread: Rebel Pilot Trainer on Lok won't talk to me..

I was sent to him from my trainer on Corellia, when I approach him he won't talk to me or train me. He just tells me to get back to work. I am maxed out on space combat xp too, and none of the trainers I've approached will train me. Am I bugged? Any ideas?

You probably have an active space mission from a duty or Wookieeworld quest. If you do, you need to get rid of that first

Thanks for the reply. I did think of that though, so I checked my quest log and it's clear.

M8 I am only guessing that your first tier missions were out of Tyrena on Corellia for Havok Squadron, if thats the case the Rebel pilot trainer in the back room in theLok Hotel is the wrong trainer(he is the bluetwilek) he is a 4th Tier trainer.
The trainer onLok you should be speaking to is Lady Viopa who is standing justinfront of Nym inside his compound whichi think is in the POI, ifnot big ass building behind the town, you can'tmiss it.
If you have spoken with Viapo and stillwont get a responce, then perhaps return back tothe Corellia trainer andtalk to him again it may haveglitched, I seem to recall that happened to meonce.

If the trainer is in a POI, you have to be 'combatant' in order for the NPC'sto speak to you, and somtimes you can't even to enter the building.

i dont think thats right, I've done Rebel pilot career twice, both Havok Squadron from Corellia, and have always been On Leave, never Combatant- and havent everbeen denied access to NPC pilot trainers,though it has gliched on occasion.

That might have been true for you.
However ,I know for a fact that 'now' you cannot talk to the rebel pilot trainer atthe 'Abandoned Rebel Base' on Dant., or the imperial pilot trainer inside 'The Emperor's Retreat' on Naboo unless you are 'combatant'.
But this was not always the case, I had toons that did piloting missions last summer when JTL was first released, and being 'combatant' was not a requirement at that time.

I believe it holds true for Vortex and not Havoc. To even get inside the Rebel Base on Dantooine, you must be a combatant anyway. I know though, as Havoc I was able to talk to the trainers there while "on leave."
My guess is also that the original poster was talking to Warvog Arkon and not Lady Viopa in Nym's Stronghold. There are 2 there, just have to get to the right one.
(And Lady Viopa wouldn't say "get back to work" to you, but Arkon sure as heck would.)
