yeah logitech 3d pro works great. However, after buying it i looked it up and were there ever an insane amoutn of complaints on this one site. But that was only one site so im not sure if it was just one kid being a rebe..err whiner or if it was for real. On other sites its highly recommended. Just something to think about.

Some USB joysticks, particularly logitech ones, have been accused of causing the dreaded "drunken bumblebee syndrome" in space. My logitech rumblepad appears to cause it on mine.

The borrowed Saitek gamepad I'm using now works fine, however.

My advice: buy from a vendor with a return policy, so if you get one that causes problems or just plain sucks, you can bring it back.

I have that joystick and all the buttons work fine with JTL. The stick isn't the most precise though, but maybe I expect too much from joysticks.

I use the Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar and love it. It has more programmable buttons than you can shake a stick at. The bases and most of the other areas are made of metal. The Joystick does not have that flimsy feel of other joysticks, its very solid and very precise. The Throttle control is also made the same way and works very well and has a ton of programable buttons. The only draw back is the price, but for me I won't go back to anything else so its worth it.
