I posted this in the GCW forum, but I figured I should post it here too as I'm not sure which board it fits under more..

I was flying in Endor space this morning. An A-wing Rebel Scout jumepd me. I disabled him. Before destroying him I decided to /inspect him just for kicks... Now I have NEVER ever found anything on a ship before now unless it was in a mission I was running.. And yet this inspection turned up Espionage Files held on the A-wing. so I tried Dock. Sure enough, I dock and after wards I get the message "Item Tranferred to Cargo: Espionage Files"

So I'm pretty intrigued by this, I check my inventory, but see nothing in there. So I land and check my cargo hold. That's empty too.

So what I want to know is, do these files even exist or is this just some pointless thing the devs threw in to try and make it seem cool to inspect ships?

In space you can inspect all sorts of ships, and with mission ships usually dock and take their cargo. But it's just a message, you'll never find the loot in your inventory or cargo hold unfortunately.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

Have you tried talking to a faction recuiter since you looted the files?

I am just wondering if you would get a radial menu option to give them the files?

It's a mission target.

Sounds like it could be Storm Squadron, they have plenty of such tier 3 and 4 missions in Endor.

I concur. It's a t3 storm mission.

As with all a-wings, disable them and let the suckers drift into a decaying orbit for a nice, slow death. *evil grin*
