here'ssome questions which i hope someone can answer. But one thingi heard in a developer interview was that there would be no official support from SOE for voice communication. Now as a veteran of Battlefield 1942 know how difficultit is to type in messages while trying to flya fighter, but will there be a use of the F1-12 keys to act as quick message/alert communications like BF42?
Also is there any info on how group combat will work, will you just form up groups in Space as you would on the ground, or will you need the group pre-formed. And more importantly is there going to be restrictions to how many ships will exist in one area at one, as you can imagine the extreme lag if say 100 ships were in the same(ish) area of space!

Just use Teamspeak or Ventrilio. Depends on what your guild (if you have one) uses. Yes, we all know that this is against the EULA, but SOE doesn't seem too bothered by it. Most people use it just to voice chat with their online buds anyway.

Haven't played enough in groups to answer this. Plus answering it might break the NDA, so I couldn't tell ya.

Here's the deal about space. That's exactly what it is. Space. There's not terraforming ground or anything, so therefore not much lag.
