Thread: Any chance to get Pilot with existing characters on live servers??

I hope I will no get banned but I have to ask 
What about my existing character on Chimaera? I want to be a pilot with her, but with the new JTL u need more Skillpoints to grind the new profs. So will it work? Do I have to drop profs to be a pilot, or do we get a bit more SP to spend to actually get a Pilot Licence.
The 250 SP cap isn't the best anyways, but If u have to drop good profs just to fly some ships, it would affect my gaming experience in a negative way. I hope there will be good way to achieve this. Just to make a new char would be way, but maybe when I have my jedi skills there would be 3 chars on one server, thats way too much

You don't need skillpoints for piloting skills, so yes you will be able to take pilot without changing your existing template. This is common and not beta knowledge.

you can choose one of three piloting professions. each of the three piloting professions do not take skill points the boxes are free and only requirement is to follow the storyline and earn the XP.
for shipwright you will be required to make template decisions if you want to take it up. it is a ground based crafting skill.

Thanks for the info.
Thats good news. Of course shipwright, should take SP, but the piloting skills should take every character, regardless of his skills. Now im pleased
