I agree it's a nice 'little' engine, but it is just that; little and you're going to be toast trying to use that against any serious enemy and come out alive. The only reason I can see someone shelling out the kind of cash you guys have quoted for it would be for someone who plans to master various squads and doesn't already have a sweet lvl 1 eng.I've used mostly player made engines for a bit now and using engine overload 3, the low pyr is nulified. Have 99, 102 and 105 speed versions. Currently have the 102 in my kryat and cruise at 1229 with eo3. The 105 is in my yt and I forget the cruising speed with eo3, but it's hella fun to fly and very manuverable even at 700+ speed.
what he said, with eo3 you can have a 40 pyr and not give a damn, only thing that matters is a top speed over 102, the engine i use in my oppressor is 104.2 and i can out maneuver a teir 5 a-wing at 609 speed and still have 300 more top speed to boot if he tries to run.
It's a pretty OK engine. The speed is nice, but the P/R/Y rates are nothing to write home about. I'm not sure if I still have it or not (have gone through tons of parts) but I know I either have or had a level 1 with 60+ P/R/Y and 72 top speed, and several other comparable units. I'm still flying with a level 2 in my alt's Dunelizard that's 65+ P/R/Y, 2200 mass, and 74.5 top speed. Poor thing is down to about 16 HP/armor after being used with 2 toons and numerous ships (and constantly running engine overload 3) but it still runs like a scalded dog.
I'm not trying to brag or be uber-dude at all, please don't take it that way. I'm just saying that there is plenty of good loot out there...you just have to go hunt it down. I will occasionally clear my inventory down to nothing but the clothes on my back, and simply go kill things until my inventory is full of loot. Good cash from the targets, great XP or prestige points, lots of good loot (lots of crap too, but your guild's Shipwright would love a donation for RE purposes) and plenty of good, clean killin' fun. Add a wingman or two for added enjoyment - and more loot!
Don't wait for the good parts to come to you - go get 'em yourself, with extreme prejudice.

Am I the only one that finds it completely rediculous that people would offer 750k? Show show bad the economy is. =|
He simply asked a question and I politlely answered. What I would pay for something doesn't reflect the whole community. I would have loved an engine like that while I was grinding Tier 1 and 2 boxes. After I got the larger TIE Advanced and could hold more mass, I would have happily passed this on to another guildy. So the 750K would have payed itself off after a few people used it.![]()
Eh, you are paying 750k(which is a LOT of money, at least now after the solo nerf) for an engine you will use for an hour. Then possibly 1 or two guildies will use for another hour. Sorry, that doesn't make sence to me. This is the main problem with the solo nerf, all the poor people stay poor, and the rich get richer.
