I had a couple mineral harvesters that disappeared during the holidays. I didn't get any warning of their condition until after getting a pair of e-mails (one was at 18%, the other at 11%). My structure maintenance droid isn't working (the radial menu shows the Edit and Run Maintenance run on it, but it won't go past that; as in I couldn't edit which harvester/structure it would go to, let a lone send it out to do so), and I was at 1 health, thanks to the disease I got while on my way to the Wookie Life Day camp. I tried to do a maintenance run, but was incapacitated and DB'd.

When I finally had enough health, it was far too late for my harvesters.

Normally, there are a series of Structural Maintenance warning E-Mails.... Starting when it hits around 50 or 40%, but I only got the one warning for each, and it was only when they were so low.

Did they change the warning system, or is this a bug?

The same thing happened to me. It yet another bug.

And this is a JTL issue?Did you look at the forum you were posting in before you posted here? Doubt anyone can or would help here since you don't seem to know what forum to post such issues. Maybe you just don't know how to run maintenance?

Structure maintenance droid? Is there such a thing, if so I gotta get one! On the email thing, I doubt the server keeps track of each individual harvester's maintenance and simply flags it on a timer when it gets below a certain % to send an email probably on a daily basis. It doesn't take long at all for a harvester to decay so if the timing of the maintenance is such that when the server flags it, it is really low then you may lose the harvester even by the time you log and get the email.

BTW this IS the wrong forum for this unless they started asteroid mining on the sly.

What does a maintenance droid do?

Structure decay gmails need to start going out at 99% and NO LATER.

Maintinance droids go and pay your maintinance or maybe even power but never having used one I couldn't say for sure.

I think maintenance droids only can pay structure maintenance, but you must first travel to the planet you want to maintain your structures on, travel to the structure and then assign the droid to it. A droid can only be assigned to 3 structures, I think. Once you've assigned a droid , you can just travel to the planet, and then pul out the droid and choose "perform maintenance run" and it will take off and pay the maintenance on the structures- You do lose the droid for several hours as it makes its rounds.

As a master droid engineer:

Structure maintenance droids can pay for your structures when you are too lazy to go to them directly. Basically, you "assign droid" to your structures from the radial menu on the structure, then you can open your droid's radial menu and "structure maintenance run." I don't know the structure limit, but it is connected to the structure maintenance rating of the droid. I have had more than 5 structures on a level 2 structure maintenance module before, and there are level 3 structure maintenance modules.

I don't really recall much about my structure maintenance droid because I have stopped using them. There is currently a bug that renders the droid completely useless, and I am absent-minded enough to keep activating it.

This is likely the reason why the droid listed above did not work, the buildings were destroyed. As for why you did not receive e-mails, that is also horrible and I have no idea about it.
