Thread: Server & Client not agreeing on exactly where your target is?

Anyone else ever have this problem:


Was working on my Tier 3 Rebel missions over Dantooine.... and every so often, it seems that the server & my client got out of sync on exactly WHERE my targets were. My ping & framerate didn't glitch (according to the monitor), but I could tell when server/client communication got borked because all of a sudden the other ships on screen stopped following smooth arcs & starting jumping around like drops of water on a hot frying pan. During this period, targeting was impossible. A TIE even made a straight head-on run at me, and my shots were going right through him at point-blank range. Unfortunately, the server had NO problem at all with allowing THEM to hit ME.


This problem would persist until I hit one of the "server lines" or whatever they are, where your throttle drops to 0 then immediately resets. When that happened, I had a minute or 2 when my targeting worked again... but then ever so gradually the movement of the other ships would start getting weird again, then I'd be stuck waiting to cross another server boundary.


I would have bugged this in game.... but that server was unavailable when I tried.

Ever have that problem?


I constantly have that problem, they warp all over the place and.....oh let me guess, when you do get some motion-continuity, the damn targeter over leads your blasters and you have to find a happy medium somewhere between the targeter and the actual ship.



I basically quit playing JtL cuz this is my typical experience 60-70% of the time.

Everyone has it, the warping and the top/bottom invulnerability bug.

yes i have notice this for some time now, so i do not play the game JTL much now, only really use it for getting from one place to the other.....anyways after SWG game problems (bugs)and now the bugs are coming out of the woodwork in JTL,,,,just put it down to SOE's trademark

same here since start of jtl




buttsr havend responsed latly so i try it now with emal but they claim it is my router strange that 3 pc in my lan dont have a problem but my pc with the best hadware off all has this anoying problem
