Remove the eject button from singleperson ships like the TIE and x-wing. How are we suposed to eject??? If we go in space we die.

Havent really looked at the TIE suit/helmet or the rebel ace helmet?
BTW, Tie's have no onboard life support.

Ejection seats come with Life Support, and TIE Uniforms have limited Life-Support. But instead of Ejecting, why can't larger ships tow us back to a base? It'd add more player interaction if we could send out a distress call, and some nice soul could bring us back to base.

They really ought to rename that button "self-destruct". Beacuse when you push it you die...taking MORE wounds than you would have just letting the enemy take you out.

It is far from "ejecting" by a long shot!

your ship also eats more decay since all the components get destroyed when you eje.. err self-destruct

Player MP ships with Tow cables or tractor beams? I like that idea!

And, whats the advantage of eject over just letting yourself be blown up real good? You seem to get MORE wounds from an eject and your ship gets demoloshed just the same?

Life support systems are available for TIE Pilots, as the TIE Pliot Suit is a self contained spacesuit. For rebels however, this is not true. Just watch the movies. They have a helmet with a visor and a jumpsuit. As far as rebel pilots are concerned, if you lose your ship you deserve to die, because those things are hard to replace when you're strapped for resources. Why do you think rebel ships were made to be durable and TIE's made to be expendable? The Empire can make more, the Rebellion can't.

the rebel flightsuit carries a life support device (small box on chest, not in SWG though) its capable of providing the user breathable air and keep safe from the vacuum, but if they arent taken to safety after a few hours they may freeze to death. But most often rebel fighters with ejection systems (basically all of them but the A-wing) the cockpit detaches as a whole from the rest, such as the head thing of the Y-wing (Luke had a Y-wing in one of the books which was modified so the head could detach and and as its own ship) TIEs should not have the EJECT option though as the only way to get out of a TIE is to go out the hatch.
