1.)Flight computers myseriously removing themselves from your ship while you were managing your ship, and you didnt find out about it until you were already in space.
2.)Tie aggressors are teh suck
3.)Tier 3 missions.
4.)Someone else doing the exact same mission that you are, at the exact same time, and you end up with the argo from BOTH missions. Subsequently you die and have lost 30 mins worth of progress while the other guy gets off scott free.
5.) Spending 40 minutes to Get to the end of a teir mission only to fail because of a gunboat, and no one is available to help you take it down.
6.) Doing above mentioned number 5 about 6 times.
This list was much longer in my head, but oh well. I just needed to vent. S'cuase me while i contemplate the future of my subscription to this game, ive just freaking had it with teir 3 missions.

Hmm, I've never had a problem with number 1. For number 2, it is generally agreed that NPC turret accuracy is too high, but there are methods you can pick up to take out an agressor.
As for the tier three missions, I had a wingmate, and we were able to go through them quite easily.

Tried that. Nobody's i know is on that can help, or is able to help, or noboday wants to help.
This much i know, if i ever make Ace again, im gonna make it a point to help imp pilots, cause out of the three professions that i have played so far, imperial pilot is the one that gets alot harder later on. I soloed all of privateer, and all but one mission of the rebel teir missions. Doesnt look like im going to be doing as well this time around.

Ahh, the 1 star that i knew was coming. I don't even know why SOE put "stars" in. Its like posting becomes a popularity contest. Puts a whole new meaning into "star wars" doesn't it? lol.
Frankly i dont care if someone likes what i write or not. The board is moving slow, most useful information that one can find has already been gone over again and again and again, not much else to do. I think after mastering two professions and trying a 3rd one, im entitled to at least one self indulgant whine.

Honestly, I see your problem...I too am having SERIOUS issues completing the Imperial Pilot profession....I keep running into roadblocks that I NEVER did with rebel/privateer. It may have something to do with having a great shipwright to help me with parts/chassis as I leveled the other 2....but I think its more to the fact that I can't seem to load enough defense/offense into my TIE's....
I agree with the above suggestions though, find a wingmate...I know I'll be looking for one in a bit on Bria....My former ST really needs help. Unfortunately the community is less than friendly...I get /spit on alot. Oh well....all is tolerable in service to the Empire.
Good luck...hopefully you'll find a way, and come let the rest of us know what it is!
Before you ask...be warned that I"m still fumbling my way through tier 1.....I keep getting discouraged and quitting for the night. It gets a bit repetative.....die/repair/die,.....rinse and repeat......and repeat.....you get the point!

Im either very bored, or have masochistic tendencies because this is my 3rd time doing teir 3 missions. Of course i know theres a few that have done them all NINE times , well my hats off to them if they did them all solo.
Imperial teir missions are most defnatly harder. I think primarly because imperial craft are rather specalized for a Very specifc role. A T/I is great on fighters, but very poor on gunboats. I could try using a Tie bomber, but then id have hell downing the massive number X,A wings in the same mission as said gunboat. I really regret training L3 droid commands before bomber strike, it might be the "trick" i need to pull that mission off.

I spend a lot of time in kessel and deep space, and have found ways around the aggressor problem, but they still irk the hell out of me. Their rear guns just fail to miss, they're like 100% accurate. Program in a little margin for error, jeez....I can't tell you how relieving it was to fly against a player Aggressor the other day and have his rear gunner miss once or twice. Damn, it felt more realistic!!!!!!! Holy Sh!!!!!!!!!
