Spacebomb. Deadly if it hits, but probably won't on anything but a gunship.

Proton Missiles. Less punch, but hits more often.

Space Bombs =.9 vs shield/armor

Proton =.4 vs shield/armor

Concussion = .7 vs shield .2 vs armor

Seismic = .7 vs armor .2 vs shield

If you only have one missile hardpoint, go for protons. If you have 2, I personally go 1 concussion and 1 seismic.

or 2 MkII space bombs for a heck of a capitol ship killer at close to 40K damage for 2 hits (max damage)

it seems space bombs are a LOT stronger, but your all saying it should only be used against vettes and isd, whats the problem with regular fighters/lambdas/gunboats? is it really unacurate? I have no experience with space bombs.

If space bombs are anything like they were in the other SW space combat games, they pack a massive punch (as noted) but are slow as hell, so easily avoided by smaller ships

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.

Spacebombs are slow, so any fast ship just can outrun them. Thus only use it on the mentioned cap ships, gunboats btw also will not outrun them
