I received me Pre-Order CD from EB Games today. I installed the CD, went to the SWG front end, registered the expansion. I rebooted SWG and it says the expansion is not registered. What am I doing wrong I hear some say that 11/21 was the cut off date and if so, what kind of scam is Sony and EB trying to pull.

It's nto a scam - there is no conspiracy here.
The expansion is not registered because it has not been released yet. You did not install the expansion, you installed a beta access pre-order CD that will give you access to beta and the flash-speeder.

Yeah, you'll be able to register the expansion once you get the actual JtL CD and not the beta disc.
Just wait til the 27th.

Okay well I guess I am a bit slow on the uptake then. How do I access the Beta?

Not sure if they're still allowing new access to the beta from the pre-order CDs... the pre-order beta was supposed to last until the 22nd (could possibly be they planed to have the entire public beta last until the 22nd). It may have been extended, or maybe not. In either case, there's instructions on the inside of the pre-order disc to get you into beta if you want. If they dont work, pre-order beta has ended.
Honestly, there's not much you can do in beta at this point other than see the game a few days early. You can not keep your beta characters, etc etc... The beta servers are VERY loaded and VERY laggy on the ground, so it's quite frustrating at times.
My best advice to you: Just wait until the game is officially released to check out space...

Well I am in a 2 hour download now, I hope that lets me in just to chekc it out otherwise I am going to be pissed that Sony and EB kept shipping CDs even though they knew we would not get them in time to participate. Sounds pretty scammy to me.

C'mon man, enough the with scam crap. When you pre-ordered it should have said that the pre-roder beta runs until the 22nd. In either case, we just got official word from TH that the entire beta is shutting down at 10am on 10/25. You REALLY wont have time to do much before then...

Well that is really not the point. I bought the preorder just to check it out. If EB knew that they could not ship it to me in time fore me to get that chance, then they are selling a product they can not garuantee. I don't have a lot of money and I paid next day air with my order brining it to 43.00. Right now I only have 54.00 to last me until 11/1. If I had known they could not fullfill their promise I would have waited and bought it from best buy where I would not have had to pay shipping. I will be on the phone with EB demanding my money back.
