Thread: Can someone explain to me how to make ships?

Iv looked all over this forum and havnt found a way to make ships. I got my pre-order beta disk last night, and finished the Imperial pilot training, but i cant get a TIE and im sick of using my training sh!t, can someone please help?

It's actually pretty simple...
To make a ship, you need to get Shipwright, which hasthe crafting schems for all the ships and components. If you're in Beta, I'd suggest you just ask if any Shipwrights have a spare lying around.

ya i asked em, my problem is when im next to a ship crafting station, using a ship crafting tool, i only have the option of making the start chassies, and from there im lost, i know how to craft, but not like that

After you made the chassis talk to a Chassis Broker NPC (in many starports), pay the fine, and the chassis will become a ship deed you can use. When you get the ship into your datapad, you can manage it in the starship terminals. Add a reactor, a engine, armor, shields, weapons, etc.. (you'll need to craft those, too) and press "Launch"

Look on the bazaar I have seen ship crafting stations on there then just pick up a house from the frogs and drop it somewhere and then drop the crafting station in it.

Here is my guide:
1) Build Ship Blueprints
2)Take them to a Chassis Dealer
3)Take your Chassis to the Starship Terminal
4)Drop it off
5)Make a Shield
6)Add the shield to the ship
7)Build a Reactor
8)Add the reactor to the ship
9)Build an Engine
10)Add the engine to your ship
11)Fly into space and have a nice day!
