I'm still not sure I understand. If I have an R3 right now, what does it need to be 'spaceworthy?' Do they all have the ability to run the programs that will give me specials in space combat? If not, what do I need in order to hold those programs? If I don't have what I need, can I somehow give it to my droid by myself or can a droid engineer put it in? Thank you for your feedback.

You need a data module for the droid, otherwise it should be fine

However, i'm not in beta so i'm not 100% certain

how can I tell if I have a data module? And if I don't have one, is there a way to get one put in?

It should say if it has a data module. If it doesnt say, take out your droid and click on it, see if there's a data related option. If not, I dont think there's currently a way to put in new modules. I think you'd need another droid crafted with the data module.

unfortunatly data modules cannot be added to a droid after the fact. you will have to buy a droid with a data module installed. And there are 6 lvl data storage devices. each with a corresponding droid cert lvl.
