Thread: I played on launch day, but dumb policy forced me to quit, I'm not a veteran?

Topic says it all...
I don't understand why I'm not a veteran, I played in beta and all I got was my name posted in a thread that no longer exists... Wheres my reward?

You are a veteran if you played for the last 6 months with no intreruption in the subscription, that is the definition used.

*shrug* I guess all of those marines that get discharged honorably for being wounded in battle aren't veterans... By sheer definition I am a veteran in this game... yet I am denied my juice? I have spent over 8 months total on this game, but not in order.
I want my free ship.

forget the veteran reward and consider it a "6 month consecutive award"

Nope...Once your account is again active for six months you will get your juice. The veteren reward is not awarded the first day of JTL only, but whenever your account becomes active for six months, that includes people who first join SWG on launch day of JTL and beyond.

I see both sides of it.
I've played since launch, but cancelled my account for awhile when I went to Iraq. So I haven't played continualy for the last six months. I'd like to get the reward, but I understand their policy.

A little off topic but similar:
If I quit playing for a few months, and then decide to come back, will I have my same character or do they get deleted?

the reward is givin out at the 6 month lvl, even if right now you don't get it, you WILL get it when you reach a consecutive 6 months again, so if you played for 8 months, cancelled for say 2 months, played again for 4, in 2 months you will get it.
I know this sucks, but thats the way the cookie crumbles, and it won't change.

If I can give you mine I would. The lasst time I tried the boat it moved as well as Jabba on a good day. Yes the interior is impressive but that is the only thing going for it.

I think it would be fair if they just countall the time you subscripedfor veteran and not that it has to be in a row.

There was a planned purge of accounts older then six months being purged but has not happened yet.
