This is one of those thingies that even though the NDA dropped we really aren't supposed to talk about. That said, we really don't know because the devs are patching regularly. I can say that they are being great about listening tofeedback and bug reports and frequently have made many changes to the systems/fixed stuff based on player feedback. In my honest opinion, space itself really isn't very buggy at all at this point. Its extremely well done

I agree there arent really alot of bugs right now. Expect some to surface when it goes Live though.


The only bug that is irritating me is the fact that even though I qualify I cant get mt Vet reward for some reason.

I will tell you what the priorities are right now:



  • continued tweaking of flight mechanics. the current model is pretty much what we'll see but they're always playing with this.

  • flight behavior of NPC ships (aka the turret effect) is being worked on

  • Spots of invulnerability on ships are being fixed

  • Invulnerability of SoroSuub is being implemented

  • tweaking collision detection

these are the major issues that are left, so we may see instances of them when live hits but with the way the devs have been performing lately I doubt there'll be much of that.

It's extemely hard to say, bugs a being squashed pretty good on beta, devs have been listening good, and trying to make this release as smooth as possible. A week ago it looked grim, then magically one patch fixed almost everything unfun about it, now the game is great, and bugs are dissappearing all over the place.


I think if i would have to say, sometimes enemy AI stops dead in space and spins around and shoots (picture death blossom from the last starfighter but slower) i wouldnt be surprised if that still happens when it's released, but it's not that serious of a problem, but a problem nontheless

RUBBERBANDING!!!!!!

Oh, and crawling through space. Did they fix the ship-roll feature from last weekend? I know that was a big gripe from testers, but I uninstalled the Beta since it's about to be released so haven't played since last weekend.

the rubberbanding sucks and it may take a little whiel to work that out,ive been tailing TIEs many,many times,once an oppressor,and rubberbanded either too far away to shoot it,or right into its line of fire...

You can bet your starter ship that they're trying damn hard to squash any known bugs before release.


I would expect difficulties logging in and lag in the starter areas due to everyone starting at once. That's pretty much to be expected though.

yes, they fixed that, it's much better now
