I have heard it said that how good the resource you use does not matter. NOT TRUE. I was in beta (TS-BRIA)and tested it out. I have been a weaponsmith for a long time and have many preseptember last year resources (pre-nurf). When i crafted SW weapons with great resources i could get 200+ more on the damage, faster fireing rate and less power used to fire the weapon. So yes the resources do matter. Also playing with the stats on resources do not go by the bar it gives you for how good your resources are. I played around and found just like in weaponsmith that even though it may say 50%OQ 50%con that con may be more important then OQ and vice versa in other things crafted. So do not go by the fact it says 25%ut 25%heat and 50%oq. That is just a starting point. Play with your resources and find what effects what. Like in weapons seems CON effects the damage.

Also some are saying use only crap resources for hulls. Well, you can but, useing good resources for higher lvl chassis can let youadd 500+ to mass and that may let the ppl get that 1 more componant in that they could not fit otherwise.

u are right resources DO matter on componets


NOT on chasis


the best resources on chasis only change the numbers very slightly over grind to mid quality resources
