Thread: If I want to be able to pvp with good ships what pilot profession should I choose?

It really doesn't matter. Each ship has it's pro and cons. This won't be anything like the ground PvP, where most depends on your equipment, and none on you skills.
In JTL, if you're really good, you can take down a TIE advanced with an outfitted Z95.

Exactly. That's one reason I barely every PvP on the ground, it isn't balanced at all. Everybody who can do stun damage and hit the mind pool is going to win. While shipequipment will be important in JTL, pilot skill will carry the day.
A-wings are faster, but can't carry as much shields/armor or weapons.
B-wings are slower, but can carry more shields/amor and weaponry.
I'm hoping that the Nova Courier and YT-1300 can do both at the same time, speed and power.

Does it really matter? We all know that Rebels outnumber the Imperials on practically every server, I expect to see hundreds of player X-Wings out there in space.
