Thread: Problem claiming Vet Reward.

I don't have JTL yet. I'm getting it tommorow. But I'm having a little problem that had me super badly worried: I cannot bring up the Claim Rewards menu. I logged in last night so I coul get a glimpse at the text of that sweet SoroSuub, and I got a look at it. But I log in tonight and I try to open up the /claimVeteranRewards screen and I see: nothing. Not even an error message. As if I had typed in nothing at all. This is bad. I've been on since the first month the game was released, and I SAW that I have the ship, and will claim it tommorow, but I can't even get th' damn window to open with my ship in it. I am perturbed. Is this a problem anyone else is having? A new add on in the patch? Maybe a glitch?(!) Please help! I want that yacht!

Naw, this is an interface problem. I've been on for 450 days. Dont' think that's th' proble, hehe. I know this is a bug now. I tested in game with several people. Some have the problem, some don't. I hope this gets fixed. Then again, when I enable JTL tommorow, I may find that the Rewards system is only bugged in the non-expansion pack.

Well i got the same problem,ok i dont have jtl yet.. but i know one who got jtl and the same problem.

There is your problem, quite clear to yourself. JTL needs to be enabled, as in you need installed with keycode, for the Vet Reward to be issued to you. Now if there is a problem after you enable JTL, then you need to worry about it.

Well, no, see, I didn't claim it. I didn't even try. I just wanted to open the Vet Rewards menu. Not claim it. It won't let me use the command /claimVeteranReward.

But I used the comman /claimVeteranReward last night, and it worked, I just couldn't claim the yacht. Now I can't even open the vet rewards menu. Did the new patch fix it so it'd be that way to insure 'extra secrecy double mark one"?

Apparently , I read in a thread this morning, ( sorry seen so many dunno which one)
There is a 48 hour bug that needs patching to get your reward ship.
Also, cos it holds 75 items, it takes up 1 lot,
So , you cant get it if you have no lots left!!
Nice of SOE to tell us that eh ?

Yeah, I've come to the probable conclusion they're gonna fix this...uh...whatever problem I have. It looks like a standard affair bug from where I see it at this point...but if anyone has any more specific feedback, that'd be cool.

Interesting bug. Funny, mine works fine. Though yes, as I said before and someone else repeated already, you need to have JTL enabled to even sniff the leather seats bud. Yes it does take 1 lot to pull out because it act pretty much as asmall house. It can be decorated and stuff stored in Etc, so its not too bad of a deal .Im sure it will be big with the entertainer crowd. Though, it does have practical perks. It hasa hyperdrive, and let me tell ya, jumping from Naboo straight to Dathmir was real nice The multiplayer fuction work fine on it too from what I could tell. So get your JTL, enable it and you should be straight unless there is truth behind this 48 hour thing. Not that Im doubting Mirth mind you, just I havent had a problem.

It's not that I have tried to claim it, it's that I couldn't claim it if I wanted to! The Rewards menu won't come up! GAH! But I reported th' bug...maybe that'll help.

Maybe they don't count weekends?
I submitted a ticket and they know about the problem...I've been here since March and I can't get my ship. CSR said 24-48hrs for a fix. Probably has something to do with trying to set up all those other reward curriculum in advanced but not having a reward for it yet.
