For the Alliance missions, after getting the first row of skills, you need to go to Yavin for the next missions. But the starter ships don't have hyperdrives, you can't redeed them, and the alliance NPC at Yavin will not give out new ships if you delete the starter ship. So do I have to get a player-made ship now already? Where is a good place to get ship chasis and all parts needed on Eclipse?

- I support the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game! - You can too!

Probably be best to ask on the Eclipse trade forum.

You need a Player built ship....the starter ship doesn't have hyperdrive...and hyperdrive isn't an item to equip

Each tier two box requires 60k xp to fill. You'll get plenty of use out of your ship. I'd upgrade asap.

Speaking of upgrading, do I need a shipwright to attach any looted parts I find? Or can I do it myself somehow?

You can do it yourself at the starship terminal, just click on manage. (Provided it isn't the starter ship of course).
