Thread: Traning Bug or Intended

As and Imp Pilot I went through all the Tier 1 missions and Trained. He sent me to the Imp Retreat and I ran my First Mission there NP. The 2nd mission I had alot of troubles with so I decide to gind enough Exp to get better equipment. After getting enough Exp I went back and couldnt get Trained. He just kept talking about me Failing the mission and would give it to me again. I finaly got some help and completed the Mission. It took a few trys and some canceling out but he finlay offered to train me. After trying the next Mission I couldnt get through that either so I decide to Grind till I got enough for another Level for the Next Ship up and same problem. He dont have the option to train and just keeps talking about me failing and gives me the Mission again.
It seems to me he should always have the option to Train.

You can't train till you finish all the missions for a trainer, you have to unlock the Tier before you can train it.

I dont know if im understanding this right...
but you know that you have to get all level (tier) 1 boxes, before you can get a level 2, and all level 2 before any level 3 and so on right?

Actually he hasn't finished the trainer missions yet, that's why the trainer won't train him.
Each tier's trainer has a set of 3 or 4 missions. You can't train with him until you finish all the missions first and you can't reach the next tier till you train all 4 boxes.
It's different from the ground game. You can't train to 4 in Starfighter and then move to another tree, you have to train the entire Tier 1 level, then unlock 2, then train 2, then unlock 3, then train 3, etc.

I understand
I got 1111 from the first trainer. Went to imp retreat and as I said after the 2nd mission I did Train 1211.
My Question is Why was I able to train the one time if like the one person stated I had to Complete all missions beforeI could train. Either its a Bug he Trained me after the 2nd Mission or its a bug I cant keep Training the Other Tier 2 Blocks while im running 2nd Tier Missions.

Ok , Let me Explain a bit better.
I know you cant Train past the Tier Levels your on. Im on Tier 2 Missions so i can only train Tier 2 levels.
The Problem is once you start a Mission and Fail you cant get out of it to train till you Complete the Mission. Once you complete the Mission your on he will Train you before you go on to the next Mission with him.
There should be an Option on the Radial to Train. This way as your doing Tier 2 Missions and your not tough enough you can Grind Exp Teain Tier 2 and go Try again. he just wont let you out if you fail.

If you fail you have to re-do the mission before you can train.

On my Tier 1 Missions there was always an Option on the Radil to Train. After the First Mission he give you one Bow of Tier 1. After that each time you went back if you had enough Exp to Train you could. By time I did my Last Tier 1 Mission I was already 1111.
The Tier 2 guy dont have the Train Option on his Radial and you can only Train AFTER you finish a Mission but I did Train 1211 after the 2nd Misssion.
Again the problem is Once you fail a Mission and go back thats all he talks about is you failing and gives it to you again.
I Dont belive its Intended that you have to do ALL of the Tier 2 Missions BEFORE you can train any Tier 2 levels.

Exactly
Thats what I think is a Bug and not Intended. If you Fail a Mission because your not good enough and need better Equipment then you should be able to Level up and get better stuff so you can go back and try again.
If your not good enough to get through a Mission why would it not let you Train untill you do?

Because you can only train 1ce per successful mission, or after you unlock the whole level by finishing all the missions.

I Have done 3 Missions and only Trained once so that still isnt right.
Again, The problem is once you fail a Mission he wont even talk to you except to say you failed and give the Mission to you again.
