Thread: Passengers of Opposite Faction

In a multi-passenger factioned ship, do all the passengers have to be of that particular faction? I know that the pilot does to be able to fly it, but I haven't seen anything about whether the passengers themselves have to be. It's probably not likely because who lets an Imperial into a Rebel ship or vice-versa other than a turncoat or traitor? It provides the ultimate infiltration, but it doesn't seem likely the Devs would let a loophole code like that in the game so does anybody know if all passengers have to be of the faction the ship belongs to?

so the question is... what happens if you go Overt?

does the opposite factioned flight crew get booted?

If not can he engage in PvP?

If so does he default to his own faction or the faction of the ship? (imagining a Decimator going Overt with Rebels manning all the guns...not good)

and of course how would all this affect a Nuetral?

No ground-style fighting in ships.

Also, the alignment of everyone in the ship is based on the ship, so the Rebel gunners in your example will see Rebel ships as red.

No. The passengers can be of the opposite faction. In beta, my Imperial pilot manned a turret in a Nova Courier.
