Hi everyone,

I just got done soloing the entire Tier 3, and with the number of posts here claiming you have to group up for those, I want to give a quick rundown what to do, and how to do it.

I did them all in a 1700 hitpoints Dunelizard chassis, with Mark 3 heavy blasters (crafted), a 67.2 speed engine, and a 815 energy, 37.3 recharge rate Capacitator. My shields are 834 all around, with 4.4 recharge rate.

You do NOT need any droid interface, if Mass becomes an issue. I HIGHLY advise you do NOT use a kimogila with anything less than an insanely good capacitator. Your firing rate has to be good, you cant afford firing pauses during the escort missions.

1. Mission) This was actually the worst one of them all, partially because I didnt have my good capacitator and guns yet.

It consists of several steps, during which you cannot leave the system, or afford losing much time. You are constantly on some kind of timer it seems.

Part I):

a) Capture the Transport. Its guarded by a few Kimogilas, Tier 3 I believe. Easy task. Learn the way a kimogila flies, and how to roll yourself to have all shots hit the hull. You will fight these A LOT.

b) Wait for your people to board the transport. If you were smart, it will have 50 percent front shields left, as you only took down the rear shields.

c)You will escort this transport through ever more quickly spawning waves of Tier 3 kimogilas. The key to this is to prevent their first attack run to fully hit the front of your transport.

You WILL fall behind at some point unless your ship is significantly better equipped than mine was. That is ok. The transport can take a lot of punishment, just make sure to interrupt their attack runs by firing a few rounds at their shields, which usually makes them turn away from the target.

Part II): Once the transport is away safely, which will take around 15 minutes from the first attack wave, you hopefully only have to deal with 1 or 2 more of the leftover kimos. Somewhere in the system, another waypoint will spawn, and an order to assassinate 3 Valarian leaders. Now, the hard part begins. Make sure your shields and weapons are charged, and fly to the waypoint ASAP. If you wait too long, the timer runs out, and they hyperspace.

The first group consists of a Tier 4 Ixiyen Fighter, who should be your primary target as his missiles hurt.. a LOT. Fight with shield conservation in mind, the next round is quick to follow.

Dispatch them all, and head to the next waypoint.

Here a group of more Kimogilas, and another Ixiyen will await you. The problem is simply that you will likely have taken damage, and there is one more than before. Take them out, I suggest focusing on one Kimogila to kill it quickly, then taking the Ixiyen. That is based purely on my personal experience, as I can dance with 4 enemies and avoid taking much fire, but somehow at 5 I mess up and get hit... hard.

Third waypoint is a trap. 2 Tier 3 Kimogilas and a Tier 1 Scyk (yes, he really is that crappy) await you.... and as soon as you eliminate them, 3 Tier 4 X-Wings will spawn right next to you and attack instantly. Now, X-Wings are pretty good crafts, so if you are flying a slow gunship like the Kimogila, you ll have a bit of trouble keeping all 3 off your tail.

Once you have taken them out, yay, back home !!

Train Equipment Use, or Fighters, depending on what loot you have found and would fit nicely into your ship.

2.) Mission

This one has 2 easy, and a moderately difficult part. I suggest loading up on shields and armor for this one, speed is secondary as you will be fighting in a confined space.

Part I):

Fly to Dathomir, take the Hyperpoint Emperor's Hand (always pick that one for the following missions too)

Fly to the waypoint... it marks a place where Tier 3 Witches spawn, in Style 2 Dunelizards. Target their engines, and once you disabled all 3 of them, inspect. You look for "Punisher Location Info" or something like that. It will tell you big white on your screen when you found it. Dock with the disabled fighter to retrieve the information. Then destroy for more experience. If you run out of enemy fighters and cant find the info, just wait. They WILL respawn.

Part II): Fly to the new waypoint, and do the same as before, with the exception that they are Tier 4, and the intervals between respawns seem to be slightly faster. Once you have the info, off we go......

Part III): Remember I told you to stock up on shields? this is why. You are to fly to a waypoint, and survive for a certain time there, without leaving the area. THIS IS IMPORTANT. You cannot run away. At about 1500km from the waypoint you receive a warning, and leaving that area will cause your mission to fail.

I was attacked by 5 waves of Tier 3 and some Tier 4 crafts, mainly dunelizards and kimogilas. However, there were wild spawns in the area in my case, so a Tier 5 Scyk mixed in and made it really, really hard. Either way, ignore the counter that appears on your screen, it doesnt give you useful information. Once you survived long enough, hyperspace out.

Train whatever you didnt train before, and off we go to mission 3.

3. Mission) Easy one. Its basically a few docking operations, and a glorified escort. I hate escorts, but this one isnt hard.

Part I): Fly to the Dathomir System again, and meet up with Imperial Shuttles (the white , triangle-style shuttles we know from the movies) by docking with them at each waypoint. There are several wild spawns in the area, so it depends a bit on your luck if you get messed up by Tier 5 Firesprays or not Once you have met with the 3 imperial negotiators, you will be sent to another waypoint, to escort a Sienar Fleet Systems envoy...

Part II) Your client is a Lambda Shuttle, not a freighter as usual. He has a turreted gun, and a lot of shields. You will be attacked by Scyks.... laughing, are you? Well, wrong. They spawn quickly, and due to their size are difficult to take down, as they all pack good shields.... expect to deal with 5 and more at a time if things go bad. I think they were Tier 4, but I am not entirely sure.

Anyway, after about 8 to 10 waves, the shuttle hypers, and we are home free!

--------- IMPORTANT: You should have the Starfighter Defense Tier 3 box for Energy Pulse 1 for the next mission. Forget droids.-----

4.Mission) This one is rough. Load up for fighting, aside from Droid interface you cannot have a real weakness except Boosters for this one. And dont forget to hotkey your energy pulse special attack.

Part I):

Fly from waypoint to waypoint, soon you will be called in to participate ina battle between the Rancor Clan, and the Hutt Clan. However, at this point, you will find that Rancor Clan ships are yellow to you until you attack them..... and the mission is bugged. Those so-called battles spawn crafts from both sides, but they wont attack each other. You have to deal with the ENTIRE enemy force. And that means 7 ships of Tier 3, 4 and 5 (!!!!) at the first battle.

This is where energy pulse comes in. The Rancor clans all spawn in a bundle, and wont move until you engage them. Fly up close, and fire energy pulse. That can outright kill 2 or 3 of them, leaving the rest low on shields and slightly damaged. Now, I did win this first fight without the pulse, but its far easier with it.

As soon as you killed these, another, bigger battle spawns. Drool over the YT-1300 that your allied forces (who once again will just watch and not fight) show up with, and realize you are facing 4 Tier 5 Kimogilas. One of their rockets takes out about 600 shield points, so DONT GET HIT.

This fight has 8 enemy crafts I think, one more than the first one. Fly close, pulse them, 3 should die outright, then take out the heavily damaged Dunelizard Tier 3. Afterwards, dance with the Kimogilas. I cant give much advice, its a harsh fight, and requires breaking off attack runs a lot to avoid being caught by a rocket.

Finally they will die......

Part II):

Yep, its not over yet. A buddy of Jabba is in the area, in a freighter, and of course he managed to get stranded. Fly over, avoiding any random spawns, and dock with the freighter. After you apparently showed them how to get it running again, you are in another escort mission..... but there will only be 2 waves. Easy? Well, they consist of 5 Tier 4 Kimogilas each. Ideally, you can take one out while meeting them head-on, depleting your front shield. Then pick them off one by one, and realize these dont go for the freighter all the time, they go for YOU too.

As soon as the freighter leaves, you win the mission. Most likely, you will be in the middle of a dogfight, so if your shields are low, armor down, and systems damaged, just try and evade as long as it takes to hyperspace out.

Voila, you now got the last box in Tier 3. Solo. Go brag.
