IF u allowed Ships to be boarded, not just docked on then this would create a Bunch of CONTENT for smugglers and would be great for smuggler Revamp. Could incorporate some kind of skills for smuggling. Have them fly through Imp areas and get boarded by NPC imps or somthing to that extent. If they are found out its a fight for your life. Any way this would be fun for everyone i like the idea of fighting on star ships, just like epsoide 4. The first thing anyone ever saw in star wars was the battle in that movie in the beggining where vader captures the princess.
Also would be fun to walk around a star destroyer, if boarding was put in game im sure i could do this as well.

I think it sounds like a pretty good idea, at least in theory. NPCs able to board PC ships, and PCs able to board NPC ships? I suppose that PC-to-PC boarding would be fine, provided it jibes with the whole PvP set of criteria.
Definitely worth looking into, IMNSHO.

That would scare the crap outta me to be chillin on my Nova and suddenly have some random person running through my halls. Could be a griefing problem, it'd be like a Tom and Jerry episode just trying to keep people off your ship, but the core idea seems like a good one. Just needs a couple guards from griefing

Well, this could work several ways.
First, NPC's could board people to look for smuggled goods, much like the Stormtroopers do now. You get caught, or run away, you get tagged by the Imperial/CorSec/whatever navy and can be attcked for a short time.
Second, PC-PC transfers could be made, with consent of both players. This allows for people infighters to dock up with, say, the SoroSuub, and join the party. Ship goes in datapad as well, and while this doesn't seem all that realistic, it saves time.
Third, PvP transfers could be made with overt players, allowing for Imps to basically do the same as #1, just with players at the controls.
Sound good?
