Ur lower end 'cause you get at-st's and lots of stormtroopers patrolling one city a planet. I never see a "Rebel Outpost" with a starport...

What's that got to do with it?
The Empire rules the Galaxy, you'd EXPECT them to have lots of stuff.
The whole heroic aspect was a small, ill equipped group of rebels who had to rely on old fighters, and jury rigged capitol ships had to take on the massed power of the Empire.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way But:
Why do Imperials get the short end of the stick on Fighters?
I agree with the lower end TIE fighters... they should blow.
But The interceptor in particular is an extreme dissapointment. It should have as many projectile options as an X-Wing, but it is little more than a bigger (though much cooler looking) version of a TIE or TIE/IN.
Can anyone explain to me why this is?

cuz they're TIE's....
first you hollow out a big bouncy ball and jam a toothpick on 2 ends of it. then you get yourself 2 sheets of foil and attach them to the toothpicks...and then you put engines on that...basically your riding an engine haha...I dont nkow...they dont seem to look like they should hold anywhere near as much as an X-Wing should?

Regular TIE, or a TIE/IN... or a TIE Bomber... Yes.
an Interceptor has just as many guns on it as an X-Wing (4) Each of those 4 little points on the end of those slick wings is a laser cannon.

The rebel ships are larger and pack a more powerful bunch (except the A wing) but are not nearly as maneuverable. The newbie tie you get is more maneuverable then my X with 64 roll/pitch/yaw engine in it. The bwing has lots of mass and TONS of firepower but in a dog fight it ROYALLY SUCKS!! It has the same acceleration and Decceleration as the nova (well all mp ships for that matter) so by the time my ship is down to maneuvering speed the enemy has already started pounding on me.

And your wrong there, I dont know about the interceptor but each of those lasers on an X are not 1 cannan 2=1 cannon. And the X can carry 3: 2 on the wing tips 1 about middle of the wing.

I know that an X-wing mounts 3 in JTLS.
My point is that so should an Interceptor.
If you look at them, it's pretty plain that they have the same number of guns on them, so they should be able to mount the same number of projectiles.
