I have 1000 imperial points. I goto an imperial recruiter and join the empire. Before doing anything else I go to an imperial Pilot trainer but he says I am a wanted man or something to that meaning and refuses to let me fly.
I don't recall doing anything illegal. Except there was this incident where a rebel patroll wanted to search me as I was logging out for the last time.
Does anyone know what this noise is about and how to correct it?

Do you have any previous pilot experience (neutral or rebel)? Or do you have positive rebel faction points?

I have 200 rebel points and 1111 privateer pilot experience. I figgered if I wanted to go imperial I should do it now before investing too much more time in the privateer tree. But if I have to do stuff on the ground like shoot up more random rebel outposts, then I'll just give the empire my middle finger and continue as a privateer.

Seen as you can only train in 1 pilot proffesion at a time, my guess is you would need to drop your privateer skills first. As long as your in the empire, then your rebel points shouldn't matter. Getting up to 1111 isn't that hard so if you do drop it and I was wrong it won't take you long to get back. I don't think I'm wrong however and if you want imp pilot I think the only way is to drop privateer first.

You will probably need to get rid of your Rebel faction and definatley untrain your Privateer pilot skills before being able to train as an Imperial Navy Pilot as you can only have one pilot prof at a time.

The way you "untrain" is to go to the Privateer recruiter (Gil Burton in the Bestine Hotel) and resign. Then go back to the Imperial recruiter in front of the Theed Palace.

Yup, it's the privateer pilot that's keeping you from becoming an imp pilot. You can only have one pilot prof at a time.

yep definatly the prof i joined the rebs with 0 faction but it wouldnt let em the first time as i had nutral as the other person dsaid you can only untrain by going to the hotel in bestine and retiring from piloting causes you too loose all your pilot skills and xp.
