The flash speeder was specifically for EB games and Gamestop preorders as i understood it.

I don't remember the flash speeder ever being mentioned in relation to anything apart from the pre-orders from EB and Gamespot (in order to get the speeder, you enter the key from the beta CD that comes with the pre-order).
I got mine imported from Gamespot, and got the flashspeeder fine. Wasn't too bad for price either, cost me about $48 for the game and shipping, and didn't get charged any import charges, so that works out at only about 5 pound more than the RRP UK price, by my reckoning.
But as I'm aware, you can no longer get the beta CD,s, so you can't get the flash speeder anymore.

Ok thanks for the input guys. 
Shame on the product's marketing division for not making that clear in the ad that compelled me to pre-order under a false pretense. I don't mind not getting a perk if I don't deserve it, but fair play and honesty are pretty important to me. It could have been spelled out in plain english just as it was here on this thread.

The flash speeder isn't all that great anyways, trust me. It is primarily "eye candy", so you aren't really missing out on anything.

Yeah it's slow as crap, even slower up hills and if it gets disabled you have to pay 20k to generate another one.

Acutally the Flash Speeder isn't slow at all. Not as fast as an AV-21 either, but certain far better than the X-34. As far as terrain handling, mine does great up hills, etc. And plus it's nice to have as a back up in case my swoop would ever get destroyed while out hunting. So I guess it's all in how you look at it. I tend to look at the positive side of things, life is way to short to worry about the bad. But sorry to hear you didn't get your speeder. If they made it a craftable item, I'd make it for you for free.

I've heard rumours that those who pre[ordered from Amazon.com won't get the flash speeders. Is this true? And if so, why was Amazon listed as a possible pre-order selection linked to the advertisement by SOE concerning JTL and pre-order perks that was in the SWG launchpad?
I still haven't gotten my order. It would have been faster to walk-in to an EB Games outlet and simply buy a pre-order voucher box. Ofcourse I didn't know that then lol. I don't mind the extra wait on my order, but I will be pretty disappointed if pre-order marketing incentives only apply to specific merchants, considering I wasn't forewarned.
If ya have any information to support or deny this rumour, please drop some input here.
