Ok, now I don't consider myself the most talented pilot in the game. No where near. I have alot to learn. But, I am willing to learn it. So far, I'm 2-2-2-2 rebel pilot. I'm using a Y-Wing Longprobe and I'm having some trouble hitting my targets.

I've always assumed that when the green targeting recticule appears over my enemy that I should align my targeting cursor over it and fire. It's been working for the most part, but not recently. In the last 2 days, I've had to move my cursor to the left or right of the targeting reticule to get a hit registered.

Also, I've noticed that my enemy takes no damage at all when I hit their hood. I have to hit their front or back for them to take any damage.

Comments? Any tips? Am I doing something wrong or is there a known bug at work here.

its called leading the target; u cant fire directly when ur crosshairs are on it because it's only where it is at that time STATIONARY. but ur target is moving so you need to lead it a bit (as in where it is going so fire ahead of it). also ur range to the target will change how far ahead u'll need to be leading.

i do the same thing in a dunelizard (privateer 2nd tier ship) in order to get a hit, i think it also varies with what kind of weapon you have or are using
