Thread: Where did you get 7.5 mil XP for master in beta?

Just wondering - I'm 4/4/4/4 and don't have any of the duty missions to do (escort was the best!) -> so where do you get the XP?

Yeah that response helped...
I'm talking about after the frog with pilot skills was gone...I'm essentially asking how to get 7.5 million XP in live efficiently (since you missed that somehow).

Yeah in Kessel you can easily get 30K+ exp each kill if you go after the freighters. The downside is you sometimes have to worry about other players blasting you out of the sky, but other than that it's pretty good exp.

I don't see freighters in kessel.
Just a lot of Tier 5 factioned ships (6k-8k XP)

By freighters I mean like YT-1300's, Gunboats, Lambda Shuttles, etc. This is how it was at least in beta, it could have changed since then.

Yeah I loaded my Longprobe with my best armor, weapons, shields...and got my ass handed to me by one of the gunships. I can't imagine taking one on solo without a B-wing lol

yes, groups are best. you really aren't supposed to be able to solo a 30k ship, they expect people to use groups to take them down.

Yeah...in a fully-loaded Kimogila with a mix of cert 5 and cert 7 weapons/armor/equipment (which puts me midway between tier 4 and tier 5, I think), I went up against a tier 4 YT-1300. He blew away my shields, my forward armor, and half my systems while I did a measly 56% damage to his forward shields. =) You've got to love those 100% accurate turrets that all enemy ships seem to have these days.

There weren't any YT-1300 or Lambda Shuttles in Kessel in beta. Not post wipe, anyway. All you could ever find were rebel ships, Tie variants, The corvettes, gunboats and a few spawns of neutrals (corsairs, I think).

If it's the xp for the master box you are mentioning, I don't think you will need that. Just finish the twomissions. Of course, they might have changed that near the end of beta...
