So i'm in my Tier 1 TIE and i finally succeeded in soloingthe tier 3 mission 1 escort thingy. outta missiles and nearly outta chaff i was hoping to get planetside and reload... no go... immediately i get a mish to take out an advanced A wing recon... fine i said... then after that immediately i was told to rescue a freighter... ok fine did that too... and here i thought that has to be all... i mean 2 other tier 3 missions after soloed the first one (which in and of itself took ages)... used up the last of my chaff too on that escort freighter mish cuz of the 2 tier 4 bwings... no rear armor... but still alive and kicking... and ... wait... look... i get ANOTHER mission to go deliver a package! FFS I'm not FedEx or UPS! gimmie a fricken break here!
so i guess my point is can we get a break in between these missions plz?
/add: o yeah i finally gave up and left back to yavin to see wutelse the punk would have me do... (and i checkd beforehand that I got the "completed mission: endor sys: escort engineer's transport" message and it updated too... but anyway i'm back in and it RESET MY MISSION! WTH!

It's not just a grind the progress is tied into the mission / roleplay system.
You mean your working still on TIER 1?
Cause you said your doing Tier 3 with a Tie or Light duty? If your doing Tier 3
you need to buy a TIE / in.

i'm using hte Tier 1 TIE not starter. I'd use a TIE/In but i cant afford one. furthermore this constant resetting of progress is really annoying me.

Black Epsilon's mission is similar. Find a Rebel Spy in a Tier 4 A-Wing, disable him (can take a while if he keeps coming head on and you can't catch him in a turn [A-Wings seem to occasionally go into gradual turns, where a steady shooter can pick them off like clay pigeons] and get behind him), /inspect, /dock, destroy him, then rendezvous with a Lambda, dock with IT, then intercept a flight of Tier 3 X-Wings and Y-Wings (one T3, one T4 Leader), capture a Y-Wing (I captured the T4 because he has greater armor/shielding), then escort the Y-Wing through about 5-6 random assaults by 1-2 T3 A-Wings and X-Wings (and be sure to take them fast or they'll stack). Thanks to capping the T4, the wonky targeting of the T3s never even got down below 85% shields.
And this one was easy. I only failed it the first time because I didn't read that I had to meet up with the shuttle. I'm still in a TIE/In, too - soon a TIE Bomber...even though I'd LIKE to muck around in an Interceptor.
If you can fit them, against fast movers like T4 A-Wings, you're best off with trying to fit a proton launcher if you can stand the incessant beeping from the locking system.
That, and get an engine that can make more than 55 in all manuevering categories. If you've got a slow iron, these things will dance away from you like you were glued down.

Dude.. I'm on the same mission... I did it with two other people, one of wich was in an intercepter. Eventualy you escort a freighter and a bunch of teir fours get sent on you. Dock with that final frieghter, see it to hyperspace. So then it give the final part of delivering whatever the**** that item you get earlier was.... Then the tier 4s eat my engines... WHY!?
So everything but the final delivery was completed on try #3..... but I could only boost.... and by some twist of fate I was faced in the near opposite dirrection of the wp..... WHAT THE ****!?

I hate thoes missions they are suposed to be done in groups even thoo you get teir 3 boxes for free its to many missions id rather get xp for em then do missions at least make them posible for solo people or if arlerady posible for the poster of this post or me make em shorter! i spent 30 min escorting first thing! 30 min escorting secound thing! then more and more! i mean taking on x-wings and a-wings as jsut 1 tie seems impoible but doing that for a couple of hours?!

well i'm doing it again cuz forsome reason talking to the captain reset my mission... just did the escort (got the mission succeeded msg and ss so if i get it reset again i can send it in)... god i hate this now... we're the storm squad... not hte 181st... =p tho i wouldnt mind tbh ^_^

ok this is getting stupid... i go back to cpt. denner for training and he resets my escort engineers mission AGAIN! BAH! this is going to be the third time i complete this crapy series of missions! CSR better have one helluva explanation for me later >_<
