Thread: Does Y-Wing co-pilot need to be lvl 2 qualified?

I'm assuming the answer is yes, but you never know. Reason I ask is that I'm certified to fly the ship, but my friend is starting a new character (actually playing Galaxies for the first time), and I've got that gunner's seat all ready to go.
So I'm assuming he'll have to complete the first tier, or at least just get ship cert. 2, to join me?
Or...is it the cert lvl of the gun that's installed?
Any help would be appreicated. Thanks!

as far as i know you only need the cert to fly the ship so gunners could probly do it with novice some1 can probly clear this up but thats what i heard in beta.

Actually the answer is NO. Anyone can ride in the back of your hoooooptey.
