After requesting repairs? 3rd time tonight I've crashed when asking for repairs. Ticking me off.
Happened to me a few times last week. Got pretty pissed off so I broke two joysticks. lol

Happens to me all the damn time . . . it's totally random though. Half the time I'll be in the middle of a battle and CTD. There's no reason a computer like mine should have ANY problem with crashing.

It's probably because SOE still hasn't fixed the memory leak from the first game..I have 3 Harddrive and a buttload of virtual memory and it uses it up so much that it crashes me to the desktop. I havent played since that..

Yep, I crash all the time... Never happens on the ground, only in space... Also, whats frustrating the heck outta me is, I have an extremely low ping on the ground (usually 110 on DSL) then when I launch into space my ping shoots up to above 600, and its virtually impossible to fight an enemy bouncing all over the darned screen.
Hope they fix it soon...

I was crashing to desktop left and right, driving me nuts. Called up tech support via phone and had a long talk with tech. Turned out that my onboard sound was having conflicts, (go figure that sound would screw up the game), but in my case thats exactly what it was. I just purchased SBAudigy and the game runs perfect.
Go through the basics, check the drivers, your version of direct x 9.0c... make sure your chipsets are listed as supported on their site.. and dont be afraid to call their toll free number and talk with them.

So far the only crashing my comp has done is while on the ground. It crashed on me today while sending a /tell, but it's the first time it's done this in ages.
