Why do alot of people complain about quest length?
Would you rather have quests like they are in ground?
Example, goto this spot spam spinattack kill lair and everything there finish mission in about 2 minutes head back to term and grab another one....
To me that is boring.
The quests in JTL are great, they take longer and are layed out nicely, they make you feel part of the mission.
For example escort this ship, get attacked, after escort is safe goto this place and eliminate the leader that was conducting the attack on you, or dock with him, inspect etc etc then goto this other area and deliver what you found etc.
THAT is a quest.
And also youre in space, in one faction, of course there will be enemies, you cant expect to just run around everywhere without being attacked.
Another thing, alot of people complain about grouping, some say they dont have time to group or shouldnt have to be bothered with it.
If you feel you should be able to solo everything then why are you playing an online game? obviously not to make friends since you want to be solo all the time....
You cant sayyou have no friends to group with, thats pathetic. How many players can a server hold 3k? and out of that 3k you cant manage to find 1 person to do a mission with....
Why should you be able to solo everything? lets take a look at the clone wars. big scale battle, ROTJ yea as if ONE rebel pilot could take out an entire imperial fleet.

I love the quest based missions. They remind me so much of the old X-Wing days when a mission objective was defined. Without a unique mission objective it's mindless kill, kill and kill the same thing over and over. Quest based missions, especially the long ones, once completed prove that you have the necessary skills to move up in the Tiers. If you can't complete them then you're chances in tackling the next tier will be slim to none.
Mastering the pilot profession actually means that you've accomplished something outside of mindlessly AFK macro grinding. It's a title that can be worn with pride. I'm finding that those people who are complaining about quest based missions are the same ones who AFK macro'd their way to a Jedi. JtLS is a twitch based game, if you're not good at it now then you'll need to have some practice... "God forbide" that a game actually requires some skill and time to master... shessshh... and if you're not good at twitch based games then perhaps you need to stay on the ground... no offense is meant in this last statement, It's just a fact.

The quest are OK lenght. Not too bad. But comeon there the same old missions. Go to this WP destory 3 baddys Escort this slow a$$ cargo ship that goes slow as molasses to this spot dock with this guy then take it to that guy. Its the same thing over and over again all the way through.
