man...this thing fires 50 guns at the same time at passing rebel npc ships and lags DS so bad its unplayable...i got a good system with the graphics turned all the way down....still getting .5 FPS when a random npc gets near the thing

The irony is, it didn't use to be this way.

They added it's magical, non-damaging laser "spaz attack" in the CU, and still no-one has a clue why they decided to bend deep space over and give it a red bum. :/

Yeah somehow this happened when they released ROTW and the CU. It's a shame and a half. Hopefully DS will get some dev love when time permits.

And maybe they will fix Freedom space station while they are at it.
