I have to choose to go to a rebel or an imperial admiral.
I suppose either one of them will give me the mission to go to Kessel, overt and take out the corvette and the escorting ships.
I was planning to go to the imperial admiral cause the rebel gunships are easiest to take out and I hate getting a TIE agressor on my tail in the middle of the war.
But when I go do that mission as part of the imperials will I be permantly imperial in space afterwards?
I'm rebel on the ground so I rather help rebels in space aswell.
Any suggestions ideas facts?

I just did the Corvette as a Rebel last night, and I can honestly say that TIE Aggressors were not that much of a problem. If your group is smart, it will go with a large number of people. The two Gunboats are the real stinkers, and you are going to face those no matter if you are Rebel or Imperial. So I'd say to either go with whichever faction you prefer, or go with whichever faction you can get into a good group for.

Been in Kessel for almost 5 hours straight, explored the whole system 4 times already, but no corvette.
We also destroyed about 12 rebel gunships so far, but no corvette.
