how do i program buttons on my joystick? just got one today and i'd like to customize them

i have a joystick and you can program its buttons for me if you know what i mean

While in SWG, hit CTRL-O for options screen. Then hit -CONTROLS- button. Finally there will be a button for -KEYMAP- at the bottom. Select that and you can remap joystick buttons to whatever you like (No 3rd party software required.)

Most joysticks are pre-programmed after you start game before you hit PLAY cilck on the game options botton lower left.
