Thread: Why is the Veteran Yacht Sooooooo Slow?

The other day,i decided to go out in my yacht. it loaded right it the middle of the corelia sector, and it took almost 10 minutes for me to get to the corelia space station (about 10k away). My swoop can go faster that that. Its supposed to be a cruising yacht. i realize that with the patch that we wont have to give up a lot anymore, but, whats the point of having a cruise yacht if we cant cruise around?

Not to come off as a jerk or anything,but I most likely will... but since when does the word 'cruise' mean fast speed?
1. a. To sail or travel about, as for pleasure or reconnaissance.
b. To go or move along, especially in an unhurried or unconcerned fashion
2. To travel at a constant speed or at a speed providing maximum operating efficiency for a sustained period.

Yachts, cruise ships, and barges have never actually been known for speed. If you're thinking because it should be fast because Lando has one.. recall he is Lando, and most likely he modified it just as he did the Millenium Falcon. We as veteran players get the straight-from-the-factory version, until possibly in the future we might be able to modify them other than it's body paint texture. Time and whining will tell

ya. I was just reading about lando's yacht, and i wished i could do that same type of things...but, it is extremly slow.

The kid probably never looked up the meaning of the word cruise.
