Thread: Help with lvl 3 mission for Jabba(Neutral Pilot) Smugglers Alliance

I'm doing the third mission in tier 3 for Jabbas space trainer. The one where you have to dock with the imp shuttles to give packages. I need help!!! i have done it about 10 times and keep getting killed...whats the trick??? Any help/suggestions would be nice

What server are you on, I play on Eclipse and am on 11:00pm- 4:00am EST USA (late nite east coaster). On and off during the weekend, depending of how many people bother me

I had friends take on the waves why i IFFed and took off at full speed to every drop point.

Ok, you may have to refresh me on this mission some. If I remember correctly it's the one where you hyper into the system and are constantly jumped by wave after wave of tie while you try to make it to the dropoffs. There are two primary ways to do this if I remember correctly.
First, and the method I used, is to do an in-system jump when you are engaged by the first wave. Then use engine overload and simply floor it from drop off to drop off. Second method I"ve heard worksalso involves engine overload. Basically when you are engaged have your engines pumped to the max and hit iff scramble and run like there's no tomorrow. I've heard this works but as mentioned, it's not the method I used myself.

I went with two other people who kept the attackers of my six while i docked with the shuttles. Worked on the second try, iirc. But you really need good backup

heh i've had similar problems with this mission...been through it too many times to keep track. i'd take the iff method but unfortunately i went for droids and shield shunt 3 instead of tactics, so i don't have iffscramble yet. looks like i may be flooring it and praying or trying to get a master pilot to come w/ and help hold 'em off.
Has anyone tried just disabling every ship but not destroying them? i know on some other missions it stops the waves from coming in and you can do the mission in relative peace and this would be the ideal way to do it for me, but i'm not sure if it will work...

yeah finally finished this thing tonight with the help of two great guildmates.
one had been there w/ me multiple times and was getting the hang of things, while the other (and here's where i think it made the difference) was 4433 in rebel pilot and so he had the xwing and could take the DW ships down really fast. interestingly enough, once we got the first wave down we only got one or two more waves total and managed to kill them off fast enough so that we never had 10 ships swarming our position.

yeah thanks, it's a huge relief. is there anything of this caliber later? sounds like a good challenge and working with guildies/friends is a blast in space. now if only i could figure out how to work the "formations" ...do i have to be sl or something?
