Thread: Tatooine station freelance mission

I've got to tier 3 of freelance, and the mission being offered by the space station has vanished (fair enough as I now work for Jabba), but I'm curious to know if the mission activated anything, such as full access to jabbas palace, like the Imperial mission from Naboo space station did.

The main reason I'm curious is because it seems that I can't get to Beissa (the next freelance trainer who is inside jabbas palace) without doing ground missions for Jabba, which has put a stop to my flying career until I get myself some combat skills. I just restarted my character on Farstar, so I haven't got any combat skills yet because I've been having so fun in space.

When you are in tier1, the space station "work" is Duty missions. Easy stuff intended to help the tier1 grind. There is one single time that I know of that the Palace access mission gets offered. when you completed the 2/2/2/1 mission, and come in to land, you see a slightly different button in the station dialog. I don't know if you can not take it and get it offered later, but I doubt it, since I was personally stuck at 2/2/2/2 wih no combat skills for a week, until I dropped pilot and started over, just to test for this mission.

The mission is there, its doable, I'm electronic proof, but sad to say, you're past the point of getting the mission.

you need to run through the Jabba theme park in order to get to the pilot trainer.

It kind of sucks, more so for folks like yourself who dont really have ground combat skills. but in order to get to the pilot trainer you need to get into Jabba's throne room

After 1111, the station's first question (before landing or repairing) was always something like 'I recognise your name, i have a mission for you' and then he offers a job assasinating a hutt smuggler on behalf of lady valeria but says I look too weak and will need help. I thought that going up a tier would make me tough enough, but it kinda backfired.

The mission we're talking about is precisely so you DON'T have to do the theme park. A space mission that grants you a blank pass so you can put your name on it and get in the throne room...

Is that what the assasination mission unlocks? oh well, i'm not restarting freelance just to get access, and I was gonna do jabbas themepark anyway..
