Thread: veteran reward problem

aparently i only have 161 days now since this forum acount was probly made after my free trial was over the only thing i can think is that hicup that happend a long time ago were i had to put in my card details again but that was fault of soe not me.

I received an email notifying me that I qualified for a 450 day veteran reward. But it only displays the 180 day reward for me to select. I turned in a bug report (I'm sure its just one of many they are receiveing today).


Anyone else having this problem?

Yep thats all I see but then again thats all they ever advertised.


It would be nice to get a quick dev post on this to find out if we should take the "180 day reward" or should we hold out for something better in the next day or two.

Yes the 180 day reward is the only available reward at this time, check out TH's comment on this here:

ok, this may or may not be the right spot for this, i don't know.


yesterday i tried to claim my veteran reward (even though i hadn't gotten my JTL box yet, FedEx dude is dropping that off today

well, it said i only qualified for the 90 day reward. and i though, that's odd, i've been playing since the beginning of March of this year, which according to my calculations, means i've been playing for a little under 8 months. since each month is roughly 30 days, that means i've been playing the game for a little under 240 days, probably close to 225 or 230. i've been using the same character the entire time.


i noticed that the Tuesdays tip shows a command to see how long your account has been active, and it says it's been active for 131 days?????


what happened to the other 100 days of my account?


so i guess it's telling me that i need to wait another 3 months or so to get my yacht???





has anyone else experienced this same problem?

I've seen several other posts referring to this same issue. Did you use a gamecard during any of the lifetime of your account? or let your subscription lapse at all? This appears to be bugged on the live servers, although I have yet to be able to test this myself. I know on the beta server the veteran reward command was working correctly and seemed to have the right account age also. You may want to bug this in game and/or add it to the daily issues thread.

you need jtl to claim but not to get it to say your able to get the 180 day reward as i know atleast 1 person without who can get the 180 day vet reward.

i know i need JTL to claim the ship. but my point was that when i used the /getVeteranDate (or whatever the command was) it stated that my account was 131 days old. so the not having JTL argument doesn't apply.


i've never rerolled this character. Oreet on Lowca has been my main character since March 2, 2004 which was when i first got the game. so it's got nothing to do with the age of my character.


there has been no lapse in my account at all, and i've never used a game card, been using my Debit card the whole time.


according to what we were told when the reward was first announced, ANY account over 6 months old when you register JTL is entitled to the Sorosuub Luxury Yacht, and my account meets all the requirements.


tonight after i install my JTL (which should be at my house now) i'll try it again, and if it still doesn't work i'll /bug it and hope to hear something back, although i have yet to EVER hear anything about any /bug's i've ever sent in the past.

Yeah, I will try myself when I get home (my copyis waiting for me also) but itsounds like this is definately not working correctly. As to the /bug reports you won't get any feedback on those except in the form of seeing it listed in the fixes potentially, but it at least raises the flag on the issue for the QA team as I understand it. We may have to submit in game Customer Service tickets also (which is what the CSRs are supposed to respond to).

i can't ever seen to submit a CS Ticket. they require that you do a knowledge base search first, and i can let it sit for over 15 minutes on high-speed cable internet connection, and it still never complete a knowledge base search.


i also thought maybe it has something to do with when i registered for the forums, but i checked that, and i registered for the forums in late March, which still puts me well within the necessary 180 days

i'd been playing a while be for i registerd on the forum and my forum registration is faburary the second moth yet it is the back end of october the tenth month so that means 2 moths over the limit to get 90 days lol.
