Thread: Firesprays, Worth the Price?

I see them go for like 10 mill on Bria. Are they that great a ship in terms of handling and such? Or just priced like that because they are rare? Just doesnt seem worth the price, because by the time you can pilot it, you're an Ace already and probably have a really nicely decked out ship, and/or done with the space grind.

Any thoughts?

Those who prefer taking out subsystems with space bombs I.e. for the ISD

But the Krayt is definatly a great, great ship In PvE. In PvP it´s only a mobile target

I love it, make a great missle boat.

Mine is loaded up with 2 space bombs, large shields armor and boosters.

Hit and run, moves pretty quick for a big ship (Speed wise), handles like a boat. Better than the b-wing though.

First of all: Here on chimaera they run you a mere 4M. They used to be 7M upon JTL Release. Only once have i seen one being sold for 12M

The Firespray has about 212k mass, 2 Main Weapons and 2 Ordenances. This makes it a nice alternative to the sluggish B-Wing. No real needs for an IMP to use it, since the Oppressor can take 3 Ordenances and is quite a bit smaller too. For neutrals it makes the most sense to use. They only have 1 Ordenance in all they´re bombers (Kimogila/Rhyxirk) so that this is the only ship for neuts with 2 Ordenances... short of the YT-1300 (which has 2 intead of 3 like Decimator and Nova do!). The Firespray´s weaponlayout (and the lack of Weapon convergence in this game) makes it hard to hit anything without proper time to train. Once you DO hit stuff though, the Firespray becomes a formidable fighter.

Other then that the Ship is mainly prestige, nice for a BH to have for RP reasons.

Hope that help´s ya a li´l

I'd say the Krayt is a much better ship for freelancers
