Thread: I'm in Storm Squadron...did I have a choice?!?

I switched from Reb to Imp a while ago, and after completing my 1111 skills, I was told to report for duty with Storm Squadron. I did so, and noticed that even the duty missions were significantly more difficult than the Reb ones were. Now, as I read, I see that Storm Squadron is supposedly beastly difficult! Was I supposed to have a choice in squadrons? I just when where I was told. If I'm in for a load of frustration, I may want to try one of the other squadrons first.

Also, if I switch squadrons, do I have to start over on skills/XP?

Thanks!

Check the FAQ in the Pilot forum for info on changing squadrons/factions, including waypoints to the squadron trainers.

Yes you have to start over from scratch.

Your squadron depends on where you start. If it's Bestine, you're in Storm Squadron. Black Epsilon is at the Talusian Imperial Outpost and the Imperial Inquisition is in Kaardara.

You have to talk to your trainer and give up all your skills and XP.

I've been a Talusian, a Tumbler, and a Tailor. I used to camp and I loved to scout.
Now I make ships and fly them.
